Most of my pieces focus on depicting nature and the relation that humans have with their environment, as I find that people can have as much an impact on their environment as the environment can have on them. My subject matter is often derived from my own experiences, my heritage, and my faith. I rely on the use of classical Biblical imagery to help evoke a powerful sense of emotion. My process also involves the utilization of vibrant, bright, overexaggerated colors to additionally express emotion through hue as well as the thematic and symbolic imagery that nature provides.
